About Committee
In line with the directives from the National Commission for Women and the established guidelines for preventing sexual harassment in the workplace, KCET has formed a duly constituted Internal Complaints Committee (ICC). This Committee is entrusted with handling complaints of sexual harassment involving female students, faculty members, research scholars, and non-teaching staffs. Adhering to the Regulations prescribed by authorities such as AICTE, UGC (Notification No. F.91-9/2013), and the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013 (commonly known as the Vishaka Guidelines). The Committee is committed to fostering a safe and respectful environment by effectively addressing all complaints of harassment, including sexual harassment, and by taking appropriate disciplinary actions against those found responsible.
